1. Introduction & Core Purpose

This Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is designed to ensure the absolute stability, security, and high performance of all shared web hosting environments provided by Hostaday (Powered by OMA IT Solutions). Shared hosting inherently relies on the efficient sharing of server resources among multiple users. Therefore, to maintain an optimal experience for everyone, no single hosting account is permitted to consume excessive resources that could negatively impact, slow down, or disrupt the performance of other clients on the same server. By using our services, you agree to adhere to these operational limits.

2. Email Usage Policy & Strict Enforcement

To protect our server IP reputation, ensure high email deliverability, and strictly prevent spam activities, the following hard limits are enforced on all shared hosting accounts:

• Hourly Sending Limit: Accounts are strictly limited to sending a maximum of 20 emails per hour per domain. Any outbound traffic exceeding this threshold will be automatically dropped or queued.

• Mailbox Storage Quota: The maximum storage capacity allocated per individual email inbox is 500 MB. Customers are free to manage this space as they see fit (deleting old mail, archiving locally) within their overall account limits.

• Prohibited Email Activities: The use of shared hosting servers for sending bulk mailings, marketing newsletters, mass promotional campaigns, or executing automated spam scripts is strictly forbidden.

• Instant Suspension: Any account found violating these email guidelines or triggering spam blacklists will be instantly suspended without prior notice to protect the network.

3. Disk Space, File Storage & Inode Limits

Disk space on Hostaday shared servers is allocated exclusively for the files, source code, databases, and media directly required for the live, functional operation of your hosted website.

• No Archives or Personal Backups: It is strictly prohibited to use your web hosting space as a cloud storage drive. Storing personal files, computer backups, moving images, or massive ZIP/TAR archives that are not linked to the active website is forbidden.

• No Media Streaming or File Sharing: Operating dedicated media streaming platforms, standalone file-sharing portals (such as rapidleech scripts), or massive image/video repositories not directly tied to a standard website layout is completely disallowed.

• Inode & File Count Limits: Accounts that accumulate an excessive number of files and folders (Inodes) will degrade overall disk read/write performance. Accounts exceeding reasonable Inode limits will be required to clean up files, upgrade to a dedicated VPS, or face administrative suspension.

4. CPU, RAM, and Database Performance Limits

To guarantee that your website runs fast without affecting neighboring accounts, we monitor infrastructure utilization constantly:

• Process & Script Limits: Customers may not run poorly optimized scripts, heavy cron jobs, or continuous loops that consume excessive CPU time or server RAM, causing server loads to spike.

• Prohibited Background Processes: Running background bots, web crawlers, cryptocurrency miners, or standalone server daemons (such as IRC or chat servers) is strictly prohibited on all shared hosting plans.

• Database Optimization: All MySQL/MariaDB databases must be properly optimized. Heavy, unindexed database queries that lock tables or crash the MySQL service will result in the immediate suspension of the offending script or account.

5. Policy Enforcement & Account Suspension

Hostaday utilizes automated, real-time monitoring tools to track server health and resource consumption. If an account breaches any section of this Fair Usage Policy, the Provider reserves the absolute right to take immediate action.

Administrative Action Note: We reserve the right to throttle account resources, temporarily suspend access, or permanently terminate the hosting service without prior notice and without a refund, solely to protect the integrity of the shared server ecosystem and ensure fairness for all clients.
